Rarity tools are something almost every single NFT project uses. The problem is the current options cost projects thousands of dollars, and these funds can be better used to develop other aspects of NFT projects' roadmaps. Additionally, rarity tools are hosted by third-party websites and this creates many problems which we talked about regarding the Self-Hosted NFT Marketplaces we're building. We are developing our rarity tool to allow for self-hosting, customization, and branding. Oh, and one other thing, it's completely free to use.

To start, this rarity tool will be free to use for everyone. It is one of the free NFT utility tools we are building for the ecosystem.

This helps free up liquidity for all projects, but especially for smaller projects who have limited funds to work with. We are providing them with an alternative experience, for free.

Additionally, projects can get featured on the homepage for free by adding an "On Seen As" badge & do-follow link to their website. Learn more about that here. If your project is put in the featured section, it can help bring new eyes to your community. As we continue to onboard new projects, these new communities will see the featured projects. This cycle continues as we grow and continue onboarding projects and everyone benefits from it.

What are the Benefits to Hosting a Rarity Tool on Your own Website?

It keeps your web traffic on your own website, removes the need to trust 3rd party websites, blocks the competition out from your leads, prevents fraudulent and unauthentic collections from being purchased, removes any external scam links, minimizes phishing scams, allows for branding & customization, and so much more.

How it Works

Our Rarity Tool will initially just be a self-serve platform hosted on our website. If you have been onboarded to the rarity tool, your project will have its own "rarity page", a designated link to a unique page just for you. Projects can share this link with their community. From here your community can go check the rarity of their NFTs! Projects can onboard themselves in less than a minute. 3 inputs are all you need to get listed. That's it. Submit:

1. Creator wallet

2. Your projects Magic Eden marketplace URL

3. Banner image.

From there we handle the rest.

Future Upgrades

Once the tool is out of beta, the next phase will commence, which is self-hosting. This will allow projects the ability to redirect their rarity tool page to a subdomain on their own website. From here they will have the ability to customize it, change the appearance, and allow for branding which was not possible before. Additionally, we will create a discord bot so your community can find their rarity data directly in Discord.
